The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) Region 6, Eastern Iowa SHPE and the Northeast Iowa Regional STEM Advisory Council, at the University of Northern Iowa, are partnering to virtually present Noche de Ciencias. Noche de Ciencias is meant to inspire and teach students in grades 3-12 about STEM careers through interactive activities. Students will have the opportunity to discover new career avenues while parents are encouraged to attend and learn about the college funding application process.
This event is free for all students and parents; 1 free activity kit will be provided per student (for first 200 registered students). Noche de Ciencias is scheduled for February 24-25, 2021 allowing families the option to attend either night.
Registration is closed. Participation is limited, so register early.
